We try hard to make all our guests feel special when they come to Long Meadow and one of the ways we do this is by placing our favorite Bernard Callebaut very fine chocolates on the pillows in each bedroom. We think Mr. Callebaut's chocolate is indeed the best. We eat this chocolate whenever we can and often buy it from a nearby Callebaut shop to give away to friends as well. We make the most amazing brownies with it, use it to make the family favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe, and always conclude that such a magnificent taste must mean it is good for you!

Mr. Callebaut is a master craftsman and in 1998, he was awarded the prestigious Grand Prix International Artisan Chocolatier, the top award presented at the International Chocolate Festival held in Roanne France. He is the only North American chocolatier to have won such a respected award.

You can only imagine our delight when Mr. Bernard Callebaut and his family phoned this past summer to say they would like to come to stay! We were very honored by their presence. Here is what he and his family wrote in our guest book:
