That is what one of our guests wrote in our guest book last
summer. Our mission is to provide the most comfortable, beautiful,
relaxing, fun, and peaceful experience that we can. You will find
our favorite chocolates on the bed when you arrive, beautiful
bouquets of flowers in the rooms, a gift basket of eating goodies
upon arrival, and lots of pool toys to entertain both adults and
children. Our personal book library comes with the house as does
our music CD collection.
Floor Plan and Bedrooms
Our home is a non-smoking environment and has a total of 5
bedrooms and 3 bathrooms to accommodate up to 10 people. These
rooms are spread out in the house to provide the maximum amount
of separation and privacy.
- The lower floor has sliding glass doors out to the garden
and has 1 bedroom with a queen size bed and 1- 2 piece bathroom.
- The main floor has 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed, and
1- 4 piece bathroom.
- The upper floor has 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed and
one with 2 twin beds, and 1- 3 piece bathroom.
In addition to this, to help add to your vacation experience,
there are over 30 family movies, outdoor table tennis, a croquet
game, a basketball hoop, and bocce set.
We feed birds year round including 2 types of wood peckers, quail,
junkos, finches, and bush tits. There are several humming bird
feeding stations on the property. You can sit in the kitchen and
watch these little birds feed. And at night if you are lucky you
can hear the owls hooting to each other in the woods behind the
house.
The large gardens that surround the house were designed by a
landscape architect and are maintained using certified organic
principles ie., no chemical sprays or fertilizers. Gardening is
our passion and you will see this reflected in the landscape.
