SWIMMING POOL GALLERY
We are very pleased to announce that our new in-ground swimming
pool is ready for your summer fun. Our landscape architect has
created a wonderful design to enhance the fun, beauty, and safety
of your swimming experience.
After much research, we decided to build a salt water pool rather
than the conventional chlorine treated pool. Although much more
expensive to build, salt water is much softer on the skin than
chlorine and contains no strong fumes or harmful bleaching agents.
For swimmers, this translates into an escape from the stinging
eyes and skin rashes frequently experienced in conventional chlorine
pools. The salt content is roughly the same salinity as the tears
in your eyes. The technology has been in use worldwide for over
25 years. With the popularity of pools increasing in Canada, the
use of the salt water technology is also on the increase.
Our pool is heated all summer long and is kept at approximately
82 degrees. When we built the pool, we installed a state of the
art safety pool cover that goes on and off the pool with the turn
of a key. When swimmers are not using the pool, the cover is always
on. Anyone accidentally falling onto the cover is kept dry and
safe.
With the privacy of guest in mind, we designed a pool deck that
is larger than usual. We positioned the pool to face South so
that it captures the maximum amount of sun. It really is a great
place to hang out, swim some lengths, float on a mattress, or
read a book.
